How we work?? -  Our Training Methodology

Good Executive Education is designed to produce an outcome. It’s important to understand the outcome before you can produce the education.

PROGRAM DESIGN:
  1. The Work Better Team will work very closely with the client to understand the Business Outcome desired as a result of the training program.
  2. We will spend time in understanding your business strategy, the training brief and participant requirement - then design a training approach and delivery method.
  3. Our trainers interact with participants prior to the training program at their Work place to get an understanding of the challenges faced by them. That has helped our team in keeping the content of the program rooted in reality.
  4. The final program design is shared with the training team and functional head for a final approval.

PROGRAM DELIVERY:
  1. Work Better will use the best mix of trainers/educators to match the client program requirement.
  2. Program Delivery is what sets Work Better Apart from most other educational firms. We make training & Education an exciting process for the participants. Our Trainers will not only be experts in subject of the program but will also be able to deliver the same without putting the participants of to sleep. Each trainer will ensure that the program is relevant and practical in nature. Something the participants can start using and do something about. Not just 'nice to listen to' stuff. Content that can be implemented and put in practive immediately.
  3. WORK BETTER employs a variety of learning methods while delivering the programs. Depending on the program being conducted we will use Trainer Presentations/Talks, customized Case Studies, Work Better Business Games, Group Discussions, Participant Presentation, Psychometric Testing and interactive activities.
  4. We objectively evaluate our own programs with the client. The WORK BETTER team will gather the feedback from the client to make improvement in future associations with the company.

 

The Work Better Approach to Training

Our approach towards training and development is different from that of the typical executive education & training firm. We are not a Business School. Our Job is to provide tailor made training programs to help companies execute their strategy and solve their ‘people’ related business problems.

As an example, if we were to conduct a Sales Training Program, this is how we would go about it.

Phase I – Diagnosing the Training Need > Work Better spends time with the Sales Force
  • Work Better trainer will spend time with the Sales Representatives on field during their Sales Calls.
  • This will help Work Better get 'real' insights into the core concern areas as well as identify the areas of development.
  • Unlike most other executive training companies, Work Better spends a lot of time with the client at this stage.
Phase II - Work Better will Co-Design an 'Art of Selling' Module with the client
  • On the basis of the insights, Work Better will customize the module to make it extremely specific & relevant to the requirement of the clients Sales Force (participants).
  • We will work very closely with both the Clients Training Team and the Functional head to design the program.
Phase III – Work Better conducts an 'Art of Selling' Workshop for the Sales Force
  • Work Better will conduct 2 day training workshops.
  • Based on the feedback received from participants during the first program conducted, we tailor the module further for subsequent Art of Selling workshops for the client.
Phase IV – Quarterly Intervention
  • Work Better will conduct quarterly intervention with the participants & also conduct On field visits with the Sales Force to see what has been actually implemented on ground.
